About Darean

I’m Darean Wong — an entrepreneur, writer, and creator of TypePlot, a decision-making framework that blends ancient metaphysics with modern strategy and technology.

My journey has taken me across different paths: from working in advertising at Pen’Ads, to managing hospitality at 1926 Heritage Hotel, to running my family’s Hainanese restaurant in Penang. Along the way, I’ve been fascinated by how people, projects, and businesses succeed or struggle depending on their timing and patterns of action.

That curiosity became TypePlot: a system that turns birthdates, timestamps, and text into maps of personality, purpose, and possibility. Today, I’m building TypePlot into a platform — part personal compass, part strategic tool — to help people find clarity in relationships, career, and life direction.
